Behind the canvas: The artist's journey
Discover the creative mind behind Forced Silence in Mixed Media. Learn about my artistic path, the inspirations that fuel my work, and the unique process that brings each piece to life.

My artistic beginnings
My passion for art began in childhood; while other children played, I found my joy in painting, singing, and creating artworks, prompting my parents to enrol me in art classes. Navigating life's ups and downs in Iran meant my artistic practice couldn't always be consistent, but returning to my art cave was always my healer. Over the years, I experimented with various mediums—including painting, sculpture, and stop-motion animation—allowing my style to evolve organically. Finally, pursuing my MA in Fine Art at the University of the West of England provided the framework that shaped years of my independent creative exploration.

Inspiration and artistic vision
I am inspired by the quiet moments of introspection and the complex realities of life's journey. Through my work across different mediums, I hope to evoke a sense of empathy, reflection, and emotional connection. Ultimately, I want viewers to feel the therapeutic power of art and find a moment of peace or deep resonance within the pieces.

The creative process
My approach to a new piece is organic and exploratory. It usually starts with a rough concept or emotional spark. I then experiment across different mediums—such as painting, sculpting, or digital production—allowing the material itself to help shape the direction of the work. As the piece develops, I refine the details layer by layer through careful execution and editing until the finished artwork truly reflects my original vision.
"The conceptual depth and emotional resonance in these pieces are truly captivating. Each artwork tells a powerful story, interconnected with the rest of the collection."
